Arrival in Nairobi
Arrive in Kenya’s capital city, Nairobi, where you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel.
Morning City Tour and Lunch at Carnivore Restaurant
After breakfast, embark on a brief city tour, including highlights like the Nairobi National Museum and landmarks in the city center. Enjoy a unique dining experience at Carnivore Restaurant, famous for its succulent meats and vibrant ambiance.
Afternoon Drive to Lake Naivasha
After lunch, drive to the stunning Lake Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley. This freshwater lake is surrounded by dramatic escarpments and teems with birdlife.

After breakfast, journey north past Mount Kenya to Samburu Game Reserve, a rugged, semi-arid park in northern Kenya. Along the way, enjoy views of Mount Kenya, Africa’s second-highest peak.
Lunch and Afternoon Game Drive
Arrive at the lodge for lunch before embarking on your first game drive in Samburu. Encounter unique wildlife such as Grevy’s zebras, Somali ostriches, and gerenuks. Samburu’s dry landscape is also home to the nomadic Samburu, Rendille, and Boran tribes, offering cultural insights.
Dinner and Overnight: Larsens Camp or Similar (FB).
Morning and Afternoon Game Drives
Spend the day exploring the incredible Samburu ecosystem, focusing on the Ewaso Nyiro River, the park’s lifeline. The river attracts a variety of wildlife, including elephants, leopards, and lions. Samburu is also known for its rare “Special Five” species:

Morning Transfer to Nairobi
After breakfast, bid farewell to Samburu and drive back to Nairobi, arriving by late morning.
